The course provides a basic understanding of Contracts; what forms the contract; negotiating tactics, scope of work; variations; instructions; programme; delays; extensions of time; monitoring progress; hazards of non standard contracts; negligence; late payment, and some magic words to help protect you when in doubt. It also includes a basic understanding of Parent Company Guarantees, Collateral Warranties and Performance Bonds.
